The Bay Lights

January 17-19, 2014 he Bay Lights is a site-specific monumental light sculpture and art installation on the western span of the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, designed to commemorate the 75th anniversary of its opening. The installation, by light artist, Leo Villareal, was initially intended as temporary to end on March 5, 2015. However, the project is now seeking donations and funding to make the display a permanent feature.

Diane & she volunteer weekly at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Together, they are "auditioning" for another volunteer position as a traveling crisis dog and trainer/handler.

October 2013 A 5-day stop-over in Mallorca, a Spanish island located in the Mediterranean Sea, proved worthy of the long haul from the western United States. While in Mallorca, I visited the bustling capital port city of Palma, the picturesque northwestern mountain village of Valldemossa, the quaint southern coastal towns, including Cali Pi, and the northeastern fishing villages of Pollença and Alcudia.
